1846 Sevres Chateau des Tuileries Louis Philippe Cobalt Blue Tea Cup & Saucer. Description: Antique SEVRES Chateau des Tuileries Louis Philippe I Cobalt Blue Cherub Teacup and Saucer Set - we cannot believe how stunning this cup and saucer is for its age of at LEAST 176 years old - made in the 1840s when Louis Philippe was King of the French - this set features his cypher LP as well as cherubs and gold gilt trim - alas there is a small flake or chip near the handle on the rim of the cup and the saucer is in excellent condition - the teacup stands about 2 1/2" tall and measures 3 5/8" across end to end including handle while the saucer measures approximately 5 1/8 round - weighing 6.3 oz on our own small home postal scale together as a set of 2 pieces - As-is, as-found. Hallmarks: SEVRES hallmark, the Chateau des Tuileries hallmark, as well as Sevres LP cypher hallmark, 1846. Measurements: Approximately 2 1/2" tall by 2 1/2" and measuring about 3 5/8" rim to handle's edge for the cup and the saucer measures about 5 1/8" round.

Weight: 6.3 oz on our own small home postal scale together as a set of 2 pieces. Condition: Damaged cup with a rim chip - about flake sized - see photographs - the saucer is not damaged - both have minor gold gilt wear - As-is, as-found.
