Porcelain Tea Bowl Cup & Saucer Set Derby, England RARE. For your consideration is a very pretty tea bowl (cup without a handle) and saucer set. Finest quality Early Derby porcelain with swiveling flutes and shaped rims.

Exquisite hand painted decoration with gilt floral garlands and cobalt blue accents all circling in concentric bands. Both clearly marked with painted Cross above crossed batons and "D" below in puce color. Both are also numbered 110.

In 1775, George II granted Derby porcelain the right to incorporate the crown into Derby backstamp. All original and legitimate late 18th century English porcelain. Measurements: Approximately: the saucer measures 13.2cm (5 1/4") wide and 3 cm (1 1/4") high. The bowl measures 8.3cm (3 1/4") and 5cm (2") high. No damage or restoration and minimal surface wear.

The bottom of the foot rims are mainly unglazed and the unglazed porcelain has somewhat yellowed on the cup. Take a look at the other items we have for sale now.
