NYMPHENBURG Bavaria Germany PERL PEARL GOLD 1 Set Tea Cup & Saucer Vintage. Inspired by the clear stylistic elements of the Louis XVI period, Dominikus Auliczek has designed this classic "Pearl" dinner service for the Nymphenburg Porcelain Manufactory. It was the first dinner service in Europe to have a dodecagonal shape. A characteristic feature of Auliczek's design is the raised beaded edge. This white porcelain with its 24-carat, pure gold decoration.

This gorgeous cup and saucer feature the 12 panels dodecagon shape of highest quality of porcelain decorated with hand detailing in 24 carot gold pearl dots along the trim edging on the saucer. Smooth dodecagon top rim edged with gold on the cup with raised design featuring fine reliefs of acanthus leaves near the base trimmed with the gold. Also angular J-handle to the cup.
The Tea Cup - holds approximately 5.4 ounces.. (4 inches top rim diameter by 2 3/8 inches tall).The Saucer - 6 inches across. Backstamp on all pieces the green Nymphenburg mark along with the impressed mark.. Light signs of previous ownership and its antique age needs to be taken into consideration. The possibility of manufactured imperfections.
This is a previously owned set but in very clean condition with slight to none signs of previous use - with being previously owned, always the possibility of storage signs, but have not noticed any. The website states that this set is suitable for dishwasher BUT not the microwave (I personally would only hand wash each piece)...
