Royal Crown Derby Porcelain Imari #2451 Tea Cup & Saucer Set, Scalloped Rim
Welcome to Antiques & Moore! THIS LISTING IS FOR A NICE ROYAL CROWN DERBY PORCELAIN IMARI #2451 TEA CUP AND SAUCER SET. Beautiful Imari pattern features flowers, leaves, foliage and scrolls in traditional "Imari" colors of cobalt and rust with h and painted features in 22K gold overlay on a white porcelain background. Cups are slightly scalloped at top rim and body. Sauce has nearly round edge.
Both the cup and saucer are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Saucer is marked with red Royal Crown Derby mark that dates it to 1913. The cup is marked with Royal Crown Derby mark that dates it to 1968.
Both are marked with pattern number 2451 and designs match although they are an assembled set. C up measures 2 1/4" high and 3" in diameter.Saucer measures 3/4" high and 5 1/2" in diameter.
